Bangor 3rds 1 v 5 Kilkeel 2nds

On Saturday the thirds hosted Kilkeel and were hoping to build on a series of impressive performances in recent weeks.
The game started evenly after a slight delay and Bangor struck first. A quick free hit on the Kilkeel 25 yard line by Raymond Parker to Michael Coughlin found him in plenty of space and he calmly left the goalkeeper with no chance.
This was as good as it got for Bangor as Kilkeel began to dominate the midfield, using their playmaker to great effect. They soon equalised and took the lead through goals Bangor should have done better against.
The second half started and Bangor were desperate to find a way back into the game but to little effect. Kilkeel dominated the midfield again, finding their front men and causing all sorts of problems.
Bangor conceded a further three goals for a final score of 5-1.
All in all a poor performance from the home team who will have to do a lot better this weekend to pick up points and get back on track.
